I am currently building a sister site to Jamael's Shorts called Jamael's Shortcuts :-) It is a technology toolbox, a hodgepodge of tools for tech integration. It is still in its infancy, but please check it out- there are some things up that you may find useful. Hope to see you there!

Apologies for the belated post. Although most of it was laziness, a small portion of my tardiness was intentional. Stay tuned for why :-) We were introduced to Del.icio.us, a social bookmarking website. And you know what? I liked Del.icio.us with the random periods. They were confusing where in the word (pun!) they went, but I guess they're just gone now... I digress. So now it's just Delicious. Bookmarking on steroids. Good thing we learned about this, because my Top Sites and Browser Bookmarks were getting pretty crowded. Right now I'm just using Delicious to keep track of my most frequently visited sites I need for my classes, you know, to keep my computer's desktop tidy. I can see a use for the social part of it later in my career, but truthfully, more than what I really use right now would just be a mess for me. And trust me, I don't need more mess than what I already make for myself. Delicious is a free website that works by applying "tags" to websites to make them easier to find later. The tags are like keywords that I use to help identify what the site is all about. Delicious is designed so that the user tags everything he/she ever comes across and deems useful (doesn't necessarily have to be useful now) so that in the future these random sites are much easier to recall. We can interact with other people on Delicious and explore their tagged websites as well. When used correctly, Delicious could easily make search engines expendable. Oh yeah, and did I mention it's free?! It's kind of a cool concept. A bit over my head right now though! In honor of my BIRTHDAY today (*ahem* the reason I waited until today to post this), I found a very apropos image: I couldn't resist!
